There and Back Again

Matt and I have been taking turns switching between driving and sleeping. We’re hoping to arrive home as soon as possible, which at this rate should be sometime late late late tomorrow night, if we don’t go absolutely crazy. I’m hoping to make it back to Santa Barbara by Wednesday to make it to the UCSB Gaucho’s first semifinal Big West soccer game. Hopefully! Till then, more driving.

Hello world! We’ve come a long way.

Crashed in Colorado yesterday. Friggin cold as hell sleeping in my tiny Yaris. Stopped by Chris Yates’s house and hung out for a bit. It was really cool seeing his secret bat cave. I even got to sit on the vinyl ball and be in one of his comics! Spoiler alert- tiny goats.

Matt and made our way through Nebraska all of last night and this morning. We’re just passing through Des Moines, Iowa, and soon we’ll be on to Illinois. Hoping to arrive in Easthampton on Friday morning.

It is nearly 11am, and I am sitting at a Starbucks in Colorado on my way to New England Webcomics Weekend.  How did this happen?  Am I crazy?
